Good Housekeeping Reveals Great Big Christmas Toy Test Results

The Top 10 Christmas Toys This Year, As Voted By 120 Kids

Good Housekeeping has released the results of their Great Big Christmas Toy Test 2015.

If you're at a bit of a loss over what you should buy a child for Christmas this year, this list will be like gold dust to you.

The Good Housekeeping team recruited 120 children aged from seven to 10 years old and asked them to road-test and then score 10 different toys.

With an impressive overall score of 92/100, Pie Face! was the the winner. And, valued at just under £20, it's not going to break the bank either.

The downside to the winning toy? It's actually pretty messy and involves either whipped cream or a wet sponge.

"I like it because you get splattered on the face," said eight-year-old tester David.

Coming in close second place was Minions Tumblin’ Stuart, with a score of 89/100.

"Buying an expensive new toy without giving it a test drive is always a gamble," said Good Housekeeping's consumer director Caroline Bloor.

"Obviously there are no guarantees as to what will go down well on the day but 120 youngsters can’t all be wrong!"
