'Strictly Come Dancing': Peter Andre Scoops Double '10' With Charleston, But It's Bad News For Carol Kirkwood (VIDEO)

Peter Andre's Performance Scoops The Double '10' On 'Strictly'

Peter Andre was the stand-out act in Saturday night’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, becoming the first contestant to get a 10 from not one but two of the judges.

He and partner Janette Manrara scored a whopping 38 points with their Charleston to Basement Jaxx’s ‘Do Your Thing’, which was no doubt music to Peter’s ears, after his less successful routine last week.

Despite being pretty harsh to the ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer last week, Craig Revel Horwood told him that he was “absolutely exceptional” on Saturday, while Len Goodman told him: “That was first class. Your best dance. That was fantastic.”

Peter and Janette

Peter and Janette’s Charleston has helped push them to the third place on the leaderboard, behind ‘Call The Midwife’ actress Helen George and former The Wanted singer Jay McGuiness.

Carol Kirkwood, on the other hand, had a less successful night, failing to impress the judges with her American Smooth to Shania Twain’s ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman!’.

Although the song choice can only be described as a clear 10/10, Carol and Pasha didn’t exactly get the points to match, racking up a score of just 17 from the judging panel, with Craig comparing it to a “bumper car ride”.

Ouch.

Find out which of the remaining couples will be eliminated in Sunday night’s ‘Strictly’ results show, at 7.15pm on BBC One.
