Bournemouth's Christmas Lights Are A Bit Too Phallic For Our Liking

As the nights get darker, councils everywhere start to roll out their Christmas lights - and they're all usually a bit garish, but Bournemouth has gone one step further and made theirs downright offensive.

We could leave it to the imagination, but we'll just come out with it - this looks a little bit like a willy.

So much so, in fact, that the council has taken them down. The well hung display on Wimborne Road was removed on Friday after a complaint from local business owner Simon Collins.
