People Of Fochville: Beware Of The Lions!

Five lions that have been spotted roaming freely near Fochville on Gauteng's West Rand are still on the loose. It is unclear where the lions escaped from, as much of the area where they have been spotted consists of livestock farms, according to EWN.

Captured in Africa Foundation's Drew Abrahamson said: "Take extra precautions, don't walk around. If you need to travel in the evening, go in a vehicle.

"Guards were standing at a calf that had died and the next minute five lions were walking towards them across the field."

The organisation said it was working closely with police, disaster management and farmers to locate the roaming lions.
