Alexander Wang, Balenciaga's creative director, is doing denim. Amazing. The ad campaign for the collection? Amazingly void of anything innovative - but then sex sells, right?

The ad for Denim x Alexander Wang, shot by Steven Klein, sees model Anna Ewers oiled up wearing nothing but a pair of jeans around her ankles (is that how fashion cliques are wearing them now?) with her hand poised over her crotch.

Suggestive? Err, just a little bit.

"Once you see it, you can't stop thinking about it," Alexander Wang told WWD, "I wanted an image that would provoke."
