The balance of having lots of great apps without cluttering up your phone is a hard one to find. Sometimes it takes a while to realise you're never going to use the work out app you downloaded with such good intentions, or the monitor that checks you've drunk enough water yet today.

Barring the standard social media apps you almost probably already have (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Tinder etc.), the list below is a great guide to the world of apps.
