INSPIRATION: 1980s Memphis design movement mixed with a Southern California ease
TOP LOOKS: Tannish-grey, soft-tailored trouser suit with a black, off-the-shoulder jersey T-shirt; gunmetal silk-crepe printed camisole with a long-sleeve shawl and black cotton pressed pants; black cotton gauze slip dress with colour-blocked silk appliqués
ACCESSORIES: Rope necklaces and belts; black and orange fabric headbands; platform laced sandals

WHAT WE THOUGHT: Taking notes from Memphis in the 1980s, when bold geometric shapes and bright colors were mixed with a touch of humour, Mayock and Buhai sent down a collection of beautifully tailored but easy-to-throw-on blazers with perfectly fitted high-waisted pants in colours like black, tan, and gray (which is already shaping up to be a big spring color).
There were lovely silk slip dresses highlighted with a pop of colour, mostly orange or blue. While prints weren't in abundance, the few that were there were quite wearable, even for those who usually opt out of prints altogether.
