December 21 Apocalypse: Nasa Publishes 'Why The World Didn't End' Video A Week Early

Nasa Publishes 'Why The World Didn't End' Video A Week Early

Nasa has published a video explaining why the world didn't end - a week before the scheduled apocalypse.

It is so confident that the Earth will not be destroyed in a fire-ball sent from Charon, or whatever, it released the video a full week before 21 December.

It has recently been theorised by hoaxsters, conspiracy theorists and the easily upset that the world will end on 21 December 2012.

That date coincides with the end of the current Mayan calendar cycle, taken by some as a sign that the world itself will cease.

But Nasa insists that is not the case, and has published an extensive Q&A on the matter on its own website.

Now it has gone one step further, with a video congratulating the world for continuing to exist beyond the notorious date.
