Molé doesn't just serve Mexican food, it serves art. Each dish is stunningly presented, dusted with herbs and spices, topped with jalapeños, spring onions and avocados, and tastes even better than it looks (yes this is actually possible).

Luckily, Molé is putting on a special Valentine's Day menus, available from 12th until Sunday 14th. Prices start from £35, and include a cocktail and a minimum of seven dishes.

PS - Their tequila cocktails are to DIE for.

Huddled in a corner drinking incredible cocktails at Oskar's Bar, Fitzrovia(05 of06)

At Oskar's Bar, it's all about the cocktails (ok, so the food's pretty darn good too).

The bar is partially hidden underneath the you'll-never-get-a-reservation bar Dabbous, but that doesn't stop it being boisterously busy.

In spite of the industrial warehouse-style interior, Oskar's feels pretty cosy. Warmly lit, it's a perfect place to huddle in the corner with a friend - or a date - and ply yourself with the delicious, painstakingly-crafted cocktails.

There are a LOT of creations on the menu, so put the fate of your tipple in the hands of the very competent bar staff, who will happily whip you up something according to your taste. Quince & the Pauper, Rusty Nail and Sean Honeycombs are all exquisite.

If all that drinking has made you peckish, order the homemade seeded sourdough, which comes with whipped, salted butter so creamy and light you'd be forgiven for thinking it was actually whipped cream. The crispy chicken wings (served boneless, so you don't make a mess), are also finger-lickin' good, and the cheese board is up there with the best you will ever have.

Or - just staying in and digging into a B&Js(06 of06)

Screw going out, screw everyone. You only need these guys in your life.

The "What-a-lotta Chocolate - ‘AKA the Heartbreak-Repair tub'" fits the bill pretty nicely for this option.
