Gillian Anderson and Clemence Poesy joined Michael Caine for a photo opportunity to promote their upcoming film Mr Morgan's Last Love. While Gillian opted for big bouncy curls, Clemence posed with barely brushed locks.

We're generally fans of a low maintenance look but Clemence appears to be completely sans hairbrush, meanwhile Gillian is all volume and curl. We're left wondering whether this is something meaningful relating to the film wherein Clemence Poesy - previously of Harry Potter - plays a naive free-spirited ingenue (as evidenced by the shunning of the brush) brightens a lonely widower's (Michael Caine) life.
We don't know the rest of the plot but apparently Gillian plays someone called Karen. From her hair we'd say that Karen is a high maintenance type who tells people off for not using a coaster and worries about whether a dinner party is an important enough occasion to bring out the best china.
Michael Caine's hair is far less subtly nuanced. Men have it so easy.
