Girl, 5, Ditches Disney For Chanel As Mother Recreates Iconic Women's Portraits (PICTURES, VIDEO)

LOOK: Five-Year-Old Girl Recreates Iconic Women's Portraits
|

At an age when most little girls are dressing up as their favourite Disney Princess, five-year-old Emma Moore is nurturing her inner feminist and aspiring to the likes of Coco Chanel and Amelia Earhart.

Together with her mother, photographer Jaime Moore, the pair have recreated the iconic portraits of five inspirational women from history. One for every year of little Emma's life.

Jaime says that she wanted to provide her daughter with real women to look up to, rather than characters from fairy tales.

Not only does the project include a powerful selection of women -- Coco Chanel (fashion designer), Amelia Earhart (pilot), Helen Keller (author), Susan R. Anthony (civil rights leader) and Dame Jane Goodall (primatologist) -- but Emma captures the characters with uncanny resemblance.
