LG will launch its new flagship smartphone on Wednesday August 7, live in New York - and you'll be able to watch the whole event unfold right here on HuffPost. But you'd be forgiven if you thought the G2 had been unveiled already.

Not only has LG all-but confirmed the name of the device, several key details have already been leaked - both unofficially and in the company's own teaser videos.

The new phone will be called the LG 'G2', dropping the Optimus name from its high-end Android devices.

The rumours suggest it will feature a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, just like the Samsung Galaxy S4, along with a 1080p 5.2-inch screen allowing for a thin bezel around the edge of the device.

According to images and clips released by LG (see below) it looks likely to have a back-mounted volume rocker and power key, located underneath the camera. A 13-megapixel camera also seems likely, as does up to 3GB of RAM.

Take a look at the video below for more hints - we won't know for sure what the G2 will look like until Wednesday, but count us excited for the reveal.
