What? At first glance, Liv's black blazer, detailed shirt and satin mini skirt looked like a killer ensemble, but the sheer tights and bright red peep-toe stilettos distract from fashion matters. Whilst we love the scarlet-lipped look and dark down do, perhaps she could have mixed in a little texture or even a flash of colour? We're all about metallics and sequins this season.
Where? The premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the Ziegfeld Theatre, New York.
Verdict? This is a far cry from disasterpiece but sheer tights are an all-time no, no. Keep it bare legged ladies and if you can't face the cold then opaque is foolproof.
