Come June, and London is going to be overrun with dapper chaps, as the first ever Menswear Fashion Week comes to the capital.

Normally, the menswear shows are confined to just one day, tacked on to the end of London Fashion Week each season - but now we're going to be treated to four whole days of sartorial goodness, running from Thursday 14th June to Sunday 17th June.

The provisional schedule has just been announced by the British Fashion Council, and we're pleased to note that it includes some of the biggest names in British menswear (as well as a handful of those from womenswear...)

Highlights? You can expect shows from the likes of Topman, Dunhill, James Long and Pringle of Scotland, alongside private presentations courtesy of Burberry, Paul Smith, Liberty London and Tommy Hilfiger.

Better known for their womenswear, Christopher Kane, J.W. Anderson, Nicole Farhi and Jonathan Saunders will be demonstrating their designs pour homme, plus Richard Nicoll will be showing his first ever menswear collection.

And of course, no fashion week would be complete without some stylish parties to attend. Prince Charles is hosting a reception, Louis Vuitton and Spencer Hart are throwing intimate drinks, Tom Ford and Calvin Klein are hosting private dinners and Burberry and Mr Porter are holding grand fashion bashes...

We think we're going to like London's first ever Menswear Fashion Week.

Now let's pay homage to this ground-breaking event by staring at lots of visually-pleasing men:
