The Carl Zeiss lens takes in 41 megapixels. Yep, 41, you heard it right the first time. That mass of information means you can zoom deep into each shot you take, and share or print at high quality.

It's easy and intuitive to use. Auto focus mode allows you to select your focal point with a sweep of your finger, and it's obvious and easy to switch between still and video.

Behind the scenes there's 512MB of RAM and a 1.3GHz single core processor, while other phone companies like HTC and Sony are going large with dual and quadcore processors.

Pureview will plug straight into your HD TV to view the amazing photos you've taken at high res - an emerging feature with all phones announced so far at Mobile World Congress 2012.

Nokia also announced two new Asha phones, the 302 featuring a range of attractive colours and a QWERTY keyboard.

The Nokia music NFC one touch device, a pretty set of mobile charging boosters and headphones were also on display and should be in store early this year.

Using NFC, the new device attaches to your headphones, playing all your tunes after just one touch to your phone. The handy gadget means your phone stays safely in your pocket or bag while listening to music. It shows there's more the NFC than just single touch cash payment.

HTC's CEO Peter Chou yesterday said that taking photos is the number two most popular use for their mobile phones. Nokia's 808 Pureview makes that statement that for its customers, it's number one.
