From trouser-rubbing reportage courtesy of The Sun to helpful picture galleries of women's beach volleyball matches via The Metro, media coverage of London 2012 has not been short of bottom shots.

But perhaps our pervy paparazzi missed the memo? This is no ordinary Olympics. Roles are being reversed, as men excel at gymnastics while women destroy their competition at rowing.

In the name of fair coverage, Huffpost Lifestyle has decided to look at the Games from a different angle.

Namely, what might happen if all male athletes were given the same, carefully cropped, beach volleyball treatment.
