Why Casting Creative Influencers Is The Future Of Brand Influence

Cult vintage brand, Nordic Poetry just unveiled their debut fashion film starring fifteen of London's breakthrough creative influencers from design to art and music to fashion. 'Visual Aria' - set in the Billiards Room of Sanderson London taking on a Juergen Teller aesthetic, includes a diverse casting of London's breakthrough talent both behind the scenes and front of camera - which makes a change from the traditional model-led lookbook/campaign.

The cast itself features celebrity stylist and DJ Alexis Knox, emerging Scandinavian pop artist Anna Wihlke, models Ben Cracknell and Charlie Isherwood, fashion bloggers and street style icons Ella Catliff (La Petite Anglaise) and Shini Park (Park & Cube), BBC Radio 1 DJ Jen Long, performance artist and muse Leah Debrincat, singer-songwriters Natt Weller, Kash and Rod Thomas (Bright Light Bright Light), DJ and fashion muse Munroe Bergdorf, stylists Oliver Vaughn and Sabina Emrit, and fashion creative and TV personality Nik Thakkar (me!).

Each personality brings a different flavour to the campaign and the visuals truly hero their individuality. I also produced and art directed the film and campaign with Elliott Morgan and Katia Ganfield shooting it. Check out the film below and the campaign images on karlismyunkle.com.
