Amanda Byram

Irish TV host spreading the word about being fit, healthy and strong

Amanda Byram started her career as a model at the tender age of 16 and from there went on to take the TV world by storm. In 1999 she began presenting TV3 morning show Ireland, she then moved to British TV, primarily hosting The Big Breakfast on Channel 4 in 2001 for 2 years and then appearing as a guest host on Liquid News on BBC3 in 2002. Amanda is known for hosting BBC1's hit show Total Wipeout.
A self-confessed gym bunny, Amanda has a wealth of knowledge on the subject of health and fitness. She is not afraid to use herself as guinea pig in the name on research, and documents her varying experiences in her column for Bodyfit magazine and on her twitter blog @byrambod
