Sally Bushell

Sally Bushell is Professor and Head of Department in the Department of English Literature & Creative Writing at Lancaster University. Her specialism is in Nineteenth Century literature with expertise on Wordsworth, the Lake District and the study of manuscripts and poetic process. She also has an interest in exploring imaginative space and place. Her current research is centred on Literary Mapping and she is the principal investigator of a major Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded project entitled "Chronotopic Cartographies".
