Freelance journalist and wine blogger at winebeing.com

I was born in the Czech Republic years before the Berlin Wall fell. After working in a pharmacy, as a fashion model and being a student of journalism, I virtually landed in a glass of wine in London. This metropolitan city is a heaven for wine lovers. It is almost impossible not be seduced by a glass of wine from all corners of the world in one of the London's bars. Unless, you are an abstinent. In my case, the thirst for new flavours I developed on my travels through over 40 countries across the continents, was quenched at least partially as I realised that the novelty of flavours in wines is infinite. Since then I have been devoted to my wine blog winebeing.com and currently I am travelling around the world in the quest of finding the secret of seemingly always happy winemakers. I found my purpose. As a journalist I want to unveil my audience and readers in my films and articles what makes so many people in the wine industry so positive and happy. These days, the world of wine is very exciting. With the new markets such as China and Brazil and the accelerated growth in number of vineyards in places so far thought to be unimaginable for wine production, it is intoxicating to report about all that. Women gained not only more independence in the past century, but nowadays, they are taking up jobs and developing interests in traditionally male affections such as wine. I am definitely one of those challenging the old stereotypes in our modern culture.
