She was one of 12 celebrities who took part in SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The presenter is one of the stars being put through their paces in the gruelling Channel 4 series, and had a terrifying experience during a mountain climb.

Speaking to The Mirror, Andrea revealed an ambulance crew was called in to treat her after she was pushed to breaking point.

She said: “While we were on that mountain a storm came in. It got colder and colder and colder. I collapsed and got hypothermia.

“All I can remember is I was so cold, and Ant shouted at everyone to gather around me and I can’t remember what he called it, but it was something to do with penguins.”

She continued: “I didn’t fully black out, but I had no control of anything in my body.

“I just felt really numb. You don’t even feel scared. It’s a weird, weird, floaty nothing feeling.”

Viewers have already seen Andrea struggling on the show, which sees participants put through a recreation of the SAS selection process by former soldier Ant Middleton.

She broke down in tears on last Sunday’s episode, admitting she could not cope with being shouted at as it reminded her of a past trauma.

Other stars taking part in the challenge in aid of Stand Up To Cancer include Love Island’s Camilla Thurlow, Mamma Mia 2 star Jeremy Irvine and presenter Jeff Brazier.

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins airs on Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4.
