Warning: some may find the footage distressing to watch.
The dramatic moment a shop assistant grabbed a baby seconds before her mum collapsed on the floor has been caught on CCTV.
The mother was standing in front of the counter in a shop in Colorado, America, when the assistant, Rebecca Montano, noticed she was looking unwell and wasn't responding properly.
Montano reached over to hold the baby steady, before slowly taking her out of the mother's arms.
Within seconds, the mother fell backwards, collapsed on the floor and had a seizure.
A man in the shop rushed over and began calling for help.
"I’m a mother, I’m a grandmother. It’s motherly instinct to worry about children," Montano told Fox31 News.
"She had a glazed look on her face and I just knew something was wrong."
"When I went to help her she was having a seizure."
Montano said the mother was taken to hospital and they are both doing fine.
She's been hailed as a "hero" but said she is just an average person who "did a good thing".
