Normally at political rallies people turn out to see the person behind the podium, but at an event promoting Bernie Sanders' presidential hopes last week someone else stole the show.

It was hard to focus on Bernie when there was someone else standing behind him on stage who was so much more... eye catching.

Is the blue beard specifically to match the Democrat colours, or is it a longstanding personal fashion choice? We may never know.

He was also spotted blowing kisses to Bernie as the candidate took to the stage.

If anything, this proves that Bernie Sanders has totally captured the millennial vote.
