The Philips Lumea Prestige IPL Cordless Hair Removal Device for Body, Face, Bikini and Underarms is now £269.99 on Amazon, down from a listed RRP of £550. That means you’ll save a whopping £280.01.
The product uses a light to break the cycle of hair regrowth and “put the hair to sleep”, according to its description. “Pain-free pulses of light are applied at the root and, after several treatments, hair is prevented from growing back for up to six months,” it adds.

The product can be used to remove hair on almost all of the body, including sensitive areas such as the face and bikini line.
A warning though, like many other laser hair removal devices, the Lumea Prestige is only effective on naturally dark blonde, brown and black hair and on certain skin tones. The makers warn that is cannot be used to “treat white, grey, light blonde or red hair and is not suitable for very dark skin”.
Still, if the product is suitable for your hair and skin tone you could save a lot of money on razors and waxes longterm.
