Cardi B has posted a lengthy message on her Instagram account seemingly aimed at Nicki Minaj, following reports that they were involved in an altercation at New York Fashion Week.
Both Cardi and Nicki were in attendance at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party on Friday night, where various outlets have claimed their long-standing rivalry took a turn for the physical.
Footage of the two at the event has been posted online, although the short clips don’t make it clear who incited the altercation.
However, TMZ has claimed that Cardi approached Nicki’s table at the event to confront her in person, threw a shoe at her when security intervened, and was eventually escorted from the event. Several eyewitnesses on Twitter have suggested that Nicki’s companion, Rah Ali, was also involved in the incident.
Photos of Cardi leaving the party show the ‘Bodak Yellow’ star sporting no shoes and a visible bump on her forehead, and she appears to have since addressed the incident in a post on her Instagram account.
“I’ve let a lot of shit slide!” she wrote. “I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you stop my bags, fuck up the way I eat! You’ve threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop fucking with them!! I let you talk big shit about me!!
“I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bits are fuckin off!!
“I’ve worked to hard and come too far to let anybody fuck with my success!!!! [sic]”
A New York City Police Department spokesman told People that no arrests had been made, but an investigation is continuing.

Cardi B and Nicki’s beef dates back to when they were both featured on the Migos track ‘Motor Sport’, and Cardi claimed Nicki’s verse was different to the one she initially recorded, which some took as an implication she re-recorded her lines to not be outshone.
The two appeared to have patched things up when they were photographed together at the Met Gala in May, but in the lead-up to Nicki’s new album ‘Queen’, she made several comments which were perceived to be digs at Cardi, seemingly reigniting the feud.
