Adorable Cat Without A Nose Finds Loving Home Thanks To Online Appeal

Things are about to change for Dave the cat.

A cat without a nose, who spent months in a rescue shelter because people didn’t think he was pretty enough to be adopted, has finally been given a second chance at life.

Dave the cat currently resides at Bath Cats and Dogs home.

The 14-year-old cat had part of his nose removed due to a cancerous tumour and has been waiting for somebody to take him home from the animal shelter ever since.

Thankfully, after an online appeal, Dave has been “reserved” by a kindhearted soul.

Personally we think Dave is adorable. He kind of reminds us of a cute and furry version of Bane from Batman.

In a desperate appeal to find a home for Dave, Rachel Jones from the animal shelter told the Bath Chronicle: “Visitors to the cattery stop and notice Dave’s nose but no-one has yet seen past this to adopt him.

“He is a very loving cat just waiting for someone to overlook his unusual feature and give him a forever home.”

She added that he would make a great companion to “snuggle up with”.

Her appeal seemed to work wonders though, as within hours somebody had called the shelter to reserve Dave.

Fingers crossed it all goes through for him.
