Dead To Me Season 2 Confirmed by Netflix

If you haven't watched it, then now is definitely the time.

A second series of Netflix’s Dead To Me has been confirmed, exactly a month after the first season arrived on the streaming site.

The hit comedy stars Christina Applegate as a recent widower, who finds friendship (and then a whole lot of drama), with Judy (Linda Cardellini), a woman she meets at a grief support group.

It may not sound all that funny, but this is Christina Applegate we’re talking about, so it obviously is.

Following Netflix’s confirmation that more episodes are on the way, Christina shared a snap of herself and co-star Linda on Instagram, writing: “Season 2? You Got It!”

Dead To Me was created by Liz Feldman, who also served as showrunner on the sitcom 2 Broke Girls.

Its team of executive producers include Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum (who also worked on one of this year’s hit films, Booksmart).

Dead To Me is far from the only new Netflix Original to prove a huge hit in 2019.

Ricky Gervais’ After Life and Sex Education will also both be getting second seasons.

Fans – yes fine, we mean us – are also calling for a second series of LA property programme Selling Sunset and we definitely need new episodes of Tidying Up With Marie Kondo too.
