Just when you thought everything that could possibly happen in 2016 had already happened, along come Ed Balls and Janet Street Porter.

While Ed was the stand out star of this yearโ€™s โ€˜Strictly Come Dancingโ€™, the last thing we were expecting to see next was him twirling around with the โ€˜Loose Womenโ€™ panellist - yet somehow, here we are.

The former Labour MP unleashed some of his trademark moves as he gave Janet and co-host Ruth Langsford a dance lesson during Wednesdayโ€™s (30 November) edition of the ITV daytime show.

After walking them through some cha cha steps, he then gave them a tutorial of how to do his infamous โ€˜Gangnam Styleโ€™ routine.

Letโ€™s just say we donโ€™t think โ€˜Strictlyโ€™ bosses will be knocking on JSPโ€™s door any time soon.

Ruth, on the other hand, totally smashed it, but then we expected that given the amount of times sheโ€™s shown us her fancy footwork.

Ed was eliminated from the โ€˜Strictlyโ€™ ballroom on Sunday, when he lost the dance off to Judge Rinder, after 10 controversial weeks in the competition.

However, heโ€™s not hanging up his dancing shoes just yet, as he is one of this yearโ€™s celebrities who is confirmed for next yearโ€™s โ€˜Strictly Come Dancingโ€™ arena tour.

โ€œGoing on tour is going to be another first for me and I plan to give it everything Iโ€™ve got for the audiences across the country,โ€ he said in a statement.

We. Canโ€™t. Wait.

โ€˜Loose Womenโ€™ airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV, while โ€˜Strictly Come Dancingโ€™ continues on Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
