'Emmerdale' Actor Kelvin Fletcher's Wife Eliza Gives Birth To Their First Child

'She's the most beautiful little thing I've ever seen.'

‘Emmerdale’ actor Kelvin Fletcher has welcomed a baby daughter with wife and fellow actress Eliza Marsland.

Fletcher, who played Andy Sugden in the ITV soap for twenty years between 1996 and 2016, shared the happy news on Twitter.

The 32-year-old wrote to this 200,000 followers: “Our hearts are filled with love. She’s the most beautiful little thing I’ve ever seen.”

Marsland shared an Instagram photo of a pink bouquet of flowers with the caption: “Everything pink for the little cherub.”

The couple never made an official pregnancy announcement, but started sharing photos of Eliza’s growing bump on Instagram earlier in the year.

They married in November 2015 after ten years together, and this is their first child together.

Fletcher told OK! magazine that he thought their child was conceived on their wedding night: “We’re pretty sure Liz fell pregnant on our wedding night. We then flew to Rome for three nights. Little did we know, there were three of us on our honeymoon!”

“The day I found out Liz was pregnant and our wedding day were the most amazing days of my life,” he added.

Marsland made her TV debut this year playing Liz Steele in the BBC drama ‘In The Club’, which followed the stories of six pregnant mothers.
