Facebook has resolved a global outage of its social network, Instagram and WhatsApp services, the company said.
A spokesperson told media: “Earlier today, some people may have experienced trouble connecting to the family of apps. The issue has since been resolved; we’re sorry for any inconvenience.”

Users posted on Twitter about problems accessing the main Facebook application and website, as well as Instagram and messaging service WhatsApp.
Thousands of people have lodged complaints on the website downdetector.com, Sky News reported.
Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp appeared unable to send or receive messages on Sunday afternoon.
While photographs and posts on Instagram did not load for some people.
