The Game Of Thrones cast were out in force for the series eight premiere on Wednesday night, but there was one star who took things to the next level in the fashion stakes.

Yes, we’re talking about Gwendoline Christie.

Words simply can’t do justice to her outfit, so have a look at these absolutely stunning pictures from the New York event instead:

See what we mean?

If Gwendoline’s fashion game is any indicator of how things will go for Brienne Of Tarth in the final series, then we’re going to assume she’ll conquer Westeros and end up on the iron throne.

As a bonus treat, here’s Gwendoline with the Kingslayer:

This is all too much.

Other cast memebers in attendance included married couple Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, along with the Stark sisters; Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner.

The Queen Of Dragons, Emilia Clarke, pulled out all the stops too, sporting a tulle gown and purple lipstick.

Unfortunately, Cersei Lannister actress Lena Heady couldn’t make it to the bash due to illness.

Posting on Instagram yesterday after, she said she was “gutted, heartbroken and fucked off” at not being able to attended.

“I fucking hate being sick and the timing of this is a shit bag,” she wrote. But/.. S8 is the tits and so are all my cast mates and crew mates and creators... so RIDE FORTH INTO THE NIGHT AND CREATE MAYHEM.”

Series eight premieres on Monday 15 April and two teaser trailers have been released so far.

if you’re already distraught at the thought of it all coming to an end then there has been some news that might cheer you up to, as HBO has confirmed the first official studio tour will be opening in Northern Ireland next year.
