‘I’m A Celebrity’: Katie Price Offers To Present Spin-Off Show Following Laura Whitmore’s Exit

Her choice of co-host is certainly unexpected.

Laura Whitmore’s seat is barely cold following her departure from ITV2’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ spin-off show, but that hasn’t stopped Katie Price from offering herself up for the job.

It looks like Pricey doesn’t fancy doing it alone though, as she's suggested a seemingly unexpected person who could join her down under:

I would sooo present this how cool if me and pete did it 😋

Yes, she means her ex-husband Peter Andre.

The duo didn’t exactly split amicably when they parted ways back in 2009, five years after meeting on the reality TV show.

However, in recent years, it seems that they’ve patched things up and in March, Peter addressed the fact Katie and her husband Kieron had been to see one of his concerts.

In his New! Magazine column, he wrote: “This is progress and I’m really happy that she and her husband, Kieran, came along and the whole family was there.

“It was great for the kids to see us getting on and just goes to show we’re all moving forward.”Laura announced her decision to stop presenting the ITV2 show on Thursday (14 April), explaining her reasoning in an Instagram post.

It read: "After 5 incredible series working with my extended I'm A Celeb family, I've taken the rough decision to hang up my jungle boots.

“It’s been such a wonderful experience but I feel it’s time to move on. I wish the team well and look forward to tuning in later this year as well as continuing to work with ITV on other shows.”

The 2016 series of ‘I’m A Celebrity’ is expected to air on ITV in November.
