Woman And Cat Sail The World Together, Live Every Dream Imaginable

Friendship goals.

A woman and her adorable cat are giving us serious life goals by travelling the world together and sleeping under the stars in a sailboat.

Liz Clark has been sailing the world since 2005 with her best friend and feline companion Amelia.

The pair live on a boat called Swell, which is 11 feet wide and 40 feet long.

According to Clark, Amelia has taken to sailing like a duck to water and is a great first mate.

I mean, just look how chilled she is...

In 2005, and after two years of making her boat seaworthy, Clark fulfilled a lifelong dream and set sail from California with her cat.

The pair have since travelled 18,000 miles across the west coast of Mexico, Central America and the South Pacific.

She says that Amelia's favourite pastime is fishing, which she'll often do from a surfboard attached to the boat.

When they aren't sailing the world and being best buds, the pair can be found walking on beaches, hiking mountains and travelling on anything from motorbikes to canoes.

Basically they just love adventures.

Speaking to BuzzFeed, Clark said of her first mate: "She has to go out of a cat comfort zone often. But I think she now understands that I will keep her safe and she will have a lot of fun in the end.

"She makes Swell feel much more like a home."
