Manchester City Football Club is asking young girls to share videos of themselves scoring or saving goals in return for a free limited edition football.
The football club is using the hashtag #SameGoals to encourage more young female players to play the sport.
Twitter has not disappointed with proud parents sharing videos of their daughters scoring goals both on and off the pitch.
The club has already had hundreds of entries from around the world including UK, China, USA, India, Brazil, Uruguay, Sri Lanka, Australia, South Africa, Spain, Netherlands and Thailand.
Others said that they didn’t have any photos of their daughters scoring goals because they are goalkeepers.
To enter, videos should be uploaded to Twitter or Instagram tagging @ManCity and using #SameGoals. The competition closes on Monday 30 April at 5pm.
