If anyone is in need of some cheering up right now – and let’s face it, who isn’t? – then look no further than Mariah Carey’s social media platforms, as she’s been sharing a string of fabulous videos while she self-isolates at her house.

Like many of us, the legendary diva is currently staying at home with her family in response to the coronavirus pandemic, and treated fans to her latest video update on Saturday night.

In the clip, Mariah is seen working out at her home gym while sporting some chic black surgical gloves, telling her followers she is “staying home and staying active”.

While her song It’s Like That plays, Mariah observes: “For real, you gotta just keep it going with this whole thing. I don’t know what else to say.”

As if that wasn’t iconic enough in itself, the star then performs an adapted version of the track, while continuing her exercise, singing: “I came to work out… quarantine’s got me stressed out. Oh well, that’s what’s up now…”

Mariah has already posted a few videos during her time self-isolating, including one last week in which she and her eight-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe practise their hand-washing to – obviously – one of their mum’s tunes...

And proving that she doesn’t need to leave the house to be the ultimate diva, check out her St Patrick’s Day Tik Tok post from earlier in the week…

Of course, Mariah has become renowned for her fabulous activity on social media in recent times, including her hilarious attempt at the Bottle Cap Challenge last year, and her completely over-the-top announcement at the beginning of the festive season.
