Anyone who thought we’d reached peak Carpool Karaoke when Adele joined James Corden for a spin around London town, well, we have two words for you: Michelle Obama.
Yep, the actual First Lady of the United States of America sat next to our guy, over there, in his car, SINGING.
Throw into the mix Beyoncé’s ‘Single Ladies’ and we also get to see Mrs.O going full Bey with her own take on that hand choreography too.
Seriously, what’s not to love?
If that wasn’t surreal enough, Michelle and James were also joined by another passenger in the shape of Missy Elliott, who proceeded to get her freak on with the NBFs sat up front.
For this very special edition of the hugely popular skit from James’ ‘Late Late Show’, instead of Michelle escorting him to work, he got his very own tour of the White House in Washington D.C. instead.
As well as plenty of singing (and hand jigging), Michelle reveals that she’s barely had the chance to jam out to music in the car in seven-and-a-half years.
Hmmm, can’t think why.
Next week Theresa May joins James in his motor to rock out to some of her favourite tunes including Drake, Calvin Harris and Ariana Grande.*
