A man has been charged over a video posted online of a cardboard model of Grenfell Tower being burnt at a bonfire party in south-east London, Scotland Yard said.

Paul Bussetti, 46, of South Norwood, was charged with sending grossly offensive material via a public communications network.

He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 30 April.

Five other men who were arrested over the stunt remain under investigation, the Metropolitan Police said.

A total of 72 people died as a result of the fire at Grenfell Tower in west London on 14 June 2017.
