Rihanna has teamed up with the world’s biggest luxury brands to launch her new fashion line, Fenty.

LVMH, whose brands include the likes of Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Fendi, said the launch was “fast approaching” and due in spring 2019. So watch this space.

The deal is history in the making. Rihanna will become the first woman to create an original brand with LVMH. Her line will also be the first new house created by LVMH since Christian Lacroix over 30 years ago in 1987, according to The New York Times.

“Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us,” Rihanna said in the statement. “Mr. Arnault [Chief Executive and Chairman of LVMH] has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”

The news comes hot on the heels of a slew of announcements. Just last week she announced that Fenty Beauty will be launched at Boots stores across the country from May 10, making the cult beauty brand more accesible than ever.
