Throughout the pandemic, celebrities have been doing most of their promotional interviews from home, and we can think of a fair few occasions when an enthusiastic pet has ended up causing a stir.
However, we donât think any have managed to steal the show quite like Sheridan Smithâs dogs.
During Wednesdayâs edition of This Morning, Sheridan was interviewed by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby about her new BBC reality show Pooch Perfect.
In honour of her new series, Sheridan decided to include her own dogs in the interview, probably not counting on what would follow.

âYou can see my dogs, this is mayhem,â Sheridan said, gesturing towards her dogs in the background. âIt just sounds like some really heavy breathing or something.â
And with that, Phillip and Hollyâs faces truly said it all as there was some definite⊠mounting going on between the West End starâs canine companions.
![Holly joked she felt she had to "look away" from her screen](https://img.huffingtonpost.com/asset/5ff5bb0326000076500c6721.png?ops=scalefit_720_noupscale)
âOooh âello,â Phillip commented, with Holly adding: âThey were getting very friendly then.â
The moment in question did not go unnoticed by viewers at home, either:
This Morningâs senior editor Natalie Edwards also posted a clip of the moment on Twitter, writing: âWhen things go, ahem, doggy style on @thismorning!â
âThat was hysterical!!!!â Sheridan wrote back. âThanks for having me and my (ahem) well behaved dogs on.â
Itâs been quite a couple of days for inappropriate moments on daytime telly, between Sheridanâs overzealous pooches, Lorraine Kellyâs unfortunate âfluffersâ faux pas and weather presenter Laura Tobinâs inappropriate slip of the tongue during Wednesdayâs Good Morning Britain.
And long may they continue â who doesnât need a laugh right now, eh?
This Morning airs every weekday from 10am on ITV.
