How will we cope without his cutting commentary? Just fine, we reckon.

James Jordan has made a big declaration following the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ semi-final, vowing that he won’t be watching the show anymore.

The former pro - who now spends most weekends live-tweeting the show - took to social media to make his intentions clear on Sunday (11 December), following Claudia Fragapane’s elimination from the competition:

God I hate being right..... this is sooo wrong!

Why not judge fairly & then let the public decide...

I CALLED THIS WEEK ONE....

Well..... Danny is the best dancer ever to be on Strictly #fact

But I would have to give the dance off to Claudia... pure class!!!

Claudia not doing the Strictly Tour#justsaying

Shouldn't have been this bottom 2 anyway....

Such a shame 😞

Well done AJ on your first year on Strictly, you have been amazing

A true gentleman too, and just know you did everything right 👏👏👏

I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED STRICTLY

But I will no longer be watching. Some people will say bitter, but I can't watch something I feel is unfair

One last thing..... I guarantee Danny will NOT win!!!

But they needed him in the final because he's the best by far

Will periscope soon 😘

Claudia’s exit was the tip of the iceberg for James, who spent much of his Saturday evening bemoaning the fact Ore Oduba is still on the show, and even claimed that the judges have been manipulating the scores to make sure he stays.

Yes everyone, this does mean we’re going to have to enjoy next weekend’s final without James’s doom and gloom-themed hot takes. What a travesty.

If you need your James fix though, you’ll be pleased to hear that he could be back on our screens in January, thanks to the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ ‘All Stars and New Stars’ series. Hooray…
