If you’re on the lookout for a fancy restaurant where you can treat yourself to dinner, look no further – the 100 best restaurants of 2019 across the UK have been revealed.
OpenTable compiled the list by looking at more than a million reviews by customers on its site of 8,500 restaurants. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the top 100 is dominated by London eateries, but there are 25 places outside the capital included, with Gaijin Sushi in Birmingham coming in highest at number eight.
The number one spot overall went to Core by Clare Smyth in Notting Hill – for the second year in a row. This year’s list also saw a 19% increase in diners opting for restaurants serving British cuisine.
