A man and a woman have been found dead at a house in a seaside town.
Sussex Police said the deaths of the pair, from Worthing, were unexplained.
Their bodies were found in the early hours of Friday at a property on South Farm Road.
They were declared dead at the scene.
On Twitter, the force said: “The investigation is at a very early stage and we’re working as quickly as we can to establish the circumstances of what has happened.”
Sources told The Argus a woman in her thirties lived with her boyfriend at the address.
A nearby newsagent told the paper: “I know almost everybody and got to know them. The two who lived in the house kept themselves to themselves. It is shocking that this has happened in this area.”
