Endometriosis: Why You Have More Options Available To Help Your Symptoms Than Just Surgery

Did you know.... 10% of women worldwide suffer from Endometriosis? That's a shocking 176 million.

Yet, despite this, very little is known about the cause and there is no definite cure. Yes, there are treatments and operations that will help but they will only treat the symptoms. For prolonged relief, we must look much deeper; identify the underlying cause and research better methods of treating the symptoms and the Endometriosis itself.

This came to the forefront of my mind recently when I read an article about Niamh, a young lady who had experienced agonizing symptoms of Endometriosis since she was just 14. That's 11 years! Throughout this time, she endured numerous operations and treatments in an attempt to cure some of her symptoms. However, to date, they have been unsuccessful and as a result she reported experiencing 'cramps every other day, chronic fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite, anxiety and depression.' In addition, her social life, love life, energy levels, ability to have fun, exercise, party and go to the gym care free among many other areas of her life have all suffered. These are all 'normal' things that everybody should be able enjoy and not have to worry about, especially a twenty-something young lady with the world at her feet!

It's not fair and more research must be done to find the cause of the Endometriosis. However, this takes time... What are the 176million women worldwide supposed to do whilst they're waiting? Put their lives on hold? Endure operative procedures in the hope of receiving a little relief? Definitely not.

Yes, operations are an effective and successful method of treating the Endometriosis, especially when the aim is to improve a couple's fertility. However, having read the story, it seems to me that there are 2 other solutions that may help.

The first would be for Niamh to become pregnant.... Now I know what you're thinking... yes, as a fertility specialist I do agree that, as Endometriosis can result in infertility problems, it is better for her to try to conceive sooner rather than later BUT that's not the reason I'm suggesting pregnancy.

From studying the case, it is likely that Niamh isn't just affected by Endometriosis. The fact that she tried many operations and medications that were unsuccessful suggests that there is a large possibility of underlying Adenomyosis (i.e. Endometriosis inside the uterine wall) - something that her physicians may not have diagnosed! Furthermore, the Endometriosis could also be infiltrating through her uterosacral ligaments and some of the internal abdominal organs, including the nerve plexus, which causes chronic pelvic pain.

With this in mind, what you may not know is that as much as Endometriosis can cause infertility, pregnancy itself is an effective 'treatment' for the Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and its symptoms. It may also relieve Niamh of any uterine or pelvic adhesions or scarring caused by the problem.

However, as Niamh has made it clear that she is not ready to be a mother, my second suggestion is a brilliant new treatment called IV Vitamin Infusions. They should be taken in addition to her operations but they will certainly help her to enjoy day-to-day life again, massively improve her symptoms and, as they are known to improve cell repair, tissue repair, bodily and organ function, they will also help her to recover quicker from her operations.

What are IV Vitamin Infusions?

IV Vitamin Infusions provide you with a heightened concentration of 100% natural vital vitamins and minerals, which are administered by a highly qualified doctor using an intravenous drip. They include concentrated dose of Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B and B-Complexes, Vitamin E, Glucosamine, Zinc, Selenium, Iron and many more.

The reason why IV Vitamin Infusions are so effective is that the dosage of vitamins and minerals and which ones are used is specifically tailored to the individual's body by an experienced doctor who knows your medical history, has taken into account your health goals and needs AND has analysed your current body composition of vitamins and minerals so that he knows exactly what you need. He will then use this information to compose your infusion and, following the treatment, continue to monitor your progress throughout the following weeks.

The time taken to administer the infusion is variable between individuals but, in general, it takes 45minutes.

How will the IV Vitamin Infusions benefit women with Endometriosis?

  • Re-balances the body's vitamin and mineral composition. Women with Endometriosis experience severe bleeding from the Endometrial tissue. If untreated, this can lead to anemia, vitamin B deficiencies, folate deficiencies, electrolyte disorders and many other problems.
  • Boosts immune system
  • Improves cell growth, meaning that the body is better prepared to recover from operations, and function healthily. It will also make it less sensitive to pain.
  • Improves tissue repair. Helps to prevent/repair scarring to the abdomen and cervical tissues caused by the Endometriosis. This is very important when considering fertility.
  • Improves organ function
  • Improves brain function, concentration and memory. Reduces dizzyness.
  • Increases energy levels and reduces fatigue.
  • Feelings of happiness and wellbeing. Reduce feelings of anxiety and depression
  • Rejuvenates the skin, leaving a clear, nourished and revitalized complexion. If you look better, you'll feel better.
  • Provides the body with a strong and immediately effective boost of the vital vitamins and minerals that were lost when the woman had lost her appetite. It will also help you to regain your appetite, as the body will have absorbed all of the nutrients and be ready to welcome food again.
  • Increases libido and enables pain-free intercourse
  • And many more.

(Important : IV Vitamin infusions should only be provided and tailored by highly experienced gynaecologists and doctors. The doctor administering the infusion should be able to tell you exactly what the infusion ingredients are and where they were sourced from. If they cannot, or you have any concerns, seek advice elsewhere before proceeding with the treatment.)
