We have devastating news for ‘Gogglebox’ fans hoping to see a reunion between Silent Jay and Eve Woerdenweber - she has got engaged to somebody else.

The tattoo artist has announced that new boyfriend Josh Smith popped the question during a romantic trip to Venice, and she said yes.

She revealed the news on Twitter alongside a pic of her ring, writing: "I was proposed to in Venice and I said yes to my lovely fiancé. I love you sweetheart @Josh1on1."
She later tweeted: "Filming #gogglebox and trying not to stare at my beautiful ring from my beautiful fiancé & soul mate. #engaged."
The heartbroken star - real name Jay Makin - was then forced to continue filming scenes for ‘Googlebox’ with Eve and her family.
He said at the time: “It is such a shame. I wish we could work it out. I’m having to pretend to be happy families.
“The running joke is that I never say anything — so they say it won’t be a problem.”

He later quit the Channel 4 series when Eve's new relationship became too much for him .
We just hope for his sake that Josh doesn’t take up Jay’s place on the Woerdenwebers’ sofa *sniff*.
