Presenter, DJ, writer, and secret hopeless romantic

Ashley James is a presenter, model, and successful blogger. Ashley currently has her own weekly radio show on Hoxton Radio, where she tells fascinating tales and and interviews stars and emerging talent such as Stylo G, Izzy Bizu and Tiggs da Author whilst playing an eclectic soundtrack that perfectly portrays her love for music. Ashley got her first taste for presenting aged just 16 when she secured work experience at BBC Radio Cumbria. She would interview locals about their opinions on hard-hitting news such as the price of Cumberland sausages before eventually securing a small slot on the lunchtime show voicing her opinions on local news. This passion for presenting and radio continued into her university years where she worked for the news team for her University Radio station whilst studying for her degree.

Most recently Ashley has presented a 12 episode series, Style Stars, on Sky channel PopGirl TV, in which she set a series of fashion challenges to teenage girls. On top of this, Ashley was the regular presenter for online channels Clothes Show TV and Fashtag TV, as well as live hosting at red carpet events, at the Clothes Show Live, and at festivals to crowds of up to 3000 people. Ashley’s presenting work has seen her interview the likes of The Vamps, Henry Holland, Luke Friend, Paul Potts, Rizzle Kick’s and X Factor winner Matt Cardle amongst many others. Ashley is no stranger to the camera having rose to fame on popular E4 show Made in Chelsea, and has since appeared on Channel 5’s Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, ITV’s Celebrity Dinner Dates, and has some exciting TV projects in the pipeline!

Ashley’s modelling career began after she was scouted in her hometown, Newcastle, and has since gained a wealth of modelling experience. In the last couple of years alone, Ashley has been the face of Charles Worthington, PETA, Story Jewellery, Lipstick Boutique, Tutti Rouge, McArthur Glenn, not to mention her catwalk appearance for PPQ during London Fashion Week. Having being five times named GQ’s hottest woman of the week, Esquire’s Women We Love this Week, and named as BBC 1xtra’s Hottie of the Week and agencies in the UK, Milan, Istanbul, and Australia. it’s no surprise her modelling career is going from strength to strength.
