Why I Am Shunning Black Friday in Favour of #GreenFriday

I will be wearing secondhand kimono jacket upcycled from a dressing gown, staying at home in the warm, away from the craziness and queues of Black Friday and well away from any online stores, except perhaps some of my favourite online second hand clothes stores.

Why I Took Up the 'No New Clothes for a Year' Challenge

I am quite surprised to say that it has been pretty easy although I still have three months to go. I had imagined that the year would be a flurry of sartorial activity with me upcycling and making do and mending every spare moment. It hasn't exactly turned out like that!
