Dotti Hatcher

Executive Director of P.A.C.E.

Over her 30 year career at Gap Inc., Dotti has held senior management positions in the Logistics, Supply Chain, and Global Sustainability organizations, as well as having headed the corporate foundation from 1999 – 2004. From 1994 – 1999 Dotti served as Director of Gap Inc.’s Global Compliance (Global Sustainability) organization and was co-author of Gap Inc.’s first comprehensive Code of Vendor Conduct, used to monitor manufacturing facilities around the world to ensure labour and human rights compliance.

In 2006 Dotti led the development of Gap Inc.’s P.A.C.E. (Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement) program for female garment workers. The program was designed to help female garment workers build the skills needed to advance beyond entry-level positions in the factory and fulfil their potential through life skills education and technical training.

Dotti has travelled extensively in more than 45 countries worldwide, and continues to spend 65-70% of her time in developing countries where Gap Inc. has offices, sources product or has social investment programs.

She is a graduate of the University of New York at New Paltz, and has a B.A. in Early Childhood Education.
