Mike Katz

Member of Unison London Region’s Labour-Link Committee. Labour activist in London. Ex-Camden councillor. Serving life sentence as Spurs fan.

Mike has been active in the Labour Party in London one way or another for 20 years.

From 2010 to 2014, he was a councillor in Kilburn, one of Camden’s most deprived wards, and Camden Labour Group chair from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that he chaired of Hampstead & Kilburn CLP, and was a parliamentary candidate in Cities of London & Westminster.

He worked for TSSA as the rail union’s political officer and head of communications; and is currently a member of Unison London Region’s Labour-Link Committee. He has served as a London rep on Labour’s National Policy Forum and also sits on the Jewish Labour Movement’s Executive.

Mike's been a school governor and a trustee on a number of community organisations, including West London Synagogue, the Camden Arts Centre, and the Winchester Project, a highly successful youth and play project.
