Nora Senior

President of the British Chambers of Commerce and Executive Chair UK Regions and Ireland of Weber Shandwick.

Nora Senior was appointed President of British Chambers of Commerce in July 2013.

She is Executive Chair UK Regions and Ireland of leading global PR/public affairs consultancy, Weber Shandwick. She has over 22 years agency experience and has worked with many major international brands, specialising in multi-country and multi-disciplinary corporate communications programmes, advising both FTSE 100 organisations as well as start-up companies across a wide range of sectors, including property/construction, finance, healthcare, technology and FMCG. She was previously Managing Director of Saatchi & Saatchi (North) and founded a start-up company The PR Centre, which merged with Shandwick.

A former Businesswoman of the Year, Nora is a regional adviser to the London Stock Exchange. She has recently been awarded the First Women UK Media Award 2013. She was awarded a global ‘Stevie’ for Best Woman in Business in Europe, Middle East and Asia; a UK Achievement Award and recognised as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations for outstanding contribution to the PR industry. She has held the office of Chair of Scottish Chambers of Commerce since January 2013 (NED position)
