My parents both suffered with mental illness when I was growing up. As a young child I can hardly remember any issues and look back through rose-tinted glasses at a golden childhood. My experience of mental health issues is that sufferers generally shroud their problems and quietly find ways of coping, with the help of a few trusted friends and professionals. But fakers proudly cruise around in Bipolar Disorder like it's a 24 Carat gold carriage.
